Looking ahead, the next section is the "Models". They visualise the often unspoken visions that inspire our commitment to a sustainable world. What are we striving for? What are the basic beliefs?
Four models will be elaborated: a cosmopolitan model, geared towards the realization of World Citizen Rights; an ecological one, tracing the outlines of a resource-efficient and nature compatible wealth; a socio-political one, concerned with the participation and influence of all members of society, and finally an economic model, designing the institutional structure for a holistic economic system. In so doing, the Models indicate the further direction of the book.
